Meanwhile, all the coaching staffs and other players, who didn’t feature in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, they have also arrived in Dubai and they will leave for Australia alongside the other team members. However, all the members had undergone COVID-19 test before flying for UAE where D Raghavendra has reportedly been tested positive and wouldn’t take part on the Australia tour as well.

D Raghavendra has been working as a throwdown specialist in Team India since long. His ability to throw over 150-155 kmph made him one of the best. Earlier India captain Virat Kohli had also given the credit to the ‘unsung hero’ for his stunning work at the nets.

“He has not gone to Dubai and he will not travel to Australia either,” a source said to Mumbai Mirror.

He is known as ‘Raghu’ in the cricketing circle and the captain has also added that the team has seen a huge improvement since 2013 because of the work done by the throwdown specialist in the nets. It is also noteworthy that Kohli shared Raghavendra has improved himself so much that the speed excessed over 150kmph as well.

Team India’s tour Down Under will commence from 27th November at the Sydney Cricket Ground with the three-match ODI series, while the Manuka Oval in Canberra will be hosting the first T20I game. The four-match Test series is expected to kick off sometime between 17th to 21st December across Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.
