The women’s section to feature Emmaculate Anyango Achol, the world’s second-fastest woman runner in 10K. Achol, who had previously registered the second-best time ever in 10K at 28:57, is ready to take on the Bengaluru roads and aimed to run faster than the course record. Despite the potential challenge of hotter weather, Achol expressed her flexibility and determination.

Another notable Kenyan racer is Lilian Rengeruk Kasait, who finished third in Valencia. For Kasait, the race will be significant as part of her preparation for the upcoming Paris Olympics and the Olympic Trials in Kenya.

In the men’s section, the Kenyan lineup will be led by Peter Mwaniki Aila, the nineteenth runner to crack the 27-minute barrier in 10K.
