IPL success story of T Natarajan comes to fruition as the left-arm pacer makes his debut for India in the third ODI contest against Australia. Apart from Natarajan, Team India have named three other changes with Kuldeep Yadav, Shardul Thakur and Shubman Gill also featuring in the dead rubber.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad was handed his ODI cap by skipper Virat Kohli right before the play. Natarajan replaced Mohammad Shami in the line-up, who is yet to find his rhythm in the series despite having an impressive IPL season with the Kings XI Punjab.

After losing the toss and being forced to bowl in the raging heat, the coin favoured for the under-fire skipper, who opted to bat first in Canberra.
“We will bat first. Looks a nice wicket and the last time we played here it was a really good wicket to bat on. Want to bat well and put the opposition under pressure.” said Kohli at the toss
The skipper also explained where India need to improve in order to avoid a whitewash at the hands of the hosts.
“Need to improve the body language in the field and the bowling as well. It’s a result of us not being consistent in the last two games, we are gonna try a few things tonight and see how it goes,”
