IPL 2020 In UAE: Another Blow To CSK As Suresh Raina Returns Home Due To Family Tragedy - Report

CSK have always been performing consistently in the IPL. Barring last year’s IPL, they have qualified for the playoffs in every season in which they were a part of. Their chances of qualifying for the playoffs look bright this year as well. Currently, they are comfortably placed in second place.

In UAE, Indian batsmen will play a critical role as they are better players of spin. Hence, Suresh Raina will play a pivotal role this time. He would like to make up for his absence last year by playing match winning knocks for his team.

Suresh had a great start in this year’s IPL. In his very first match against current Table toppers Delhi Capitals, the left hander scored a quickfire fifty. But he wasn’t able to replicate this amazing start into consistent performances thereafter.

As per CEO Kasi Vishwanathan, CSK contingent will be flying to UAE by 13th or 14th August. Therefore, they will fly to Dubai and start their training sessions.
