Armwrestling fans in Bhopal were in for a treat as Pro Panja League organized a Mega Match titled ‘Mega Match on a Boat’ at a Boat in Bhopal Lake. This was the fourth edition of the Mega Match series and it was the biggest Armwrestling event to ever take place in Bhopal. Shri Dr Raghavendra Sharma, who is the Pradesh Karyalay Mantri of BJP was the Chief Guest of the event. The event was sponsored by Surbhi Security Services Pvt Ltd and co-powered by VKSC infraprojects Pvt Ltd. Vinod Kumar Shukla who is the MD of VKSC infraprojects Pvt Ltd and Arun Kumar Sharma who is the director of Surbhi Security Services Pvt Ltd were also present and were at the forefront in supporting the amazing Mega Matches event.
It was for the first time in history that a sports event had taken place in a Boat in Bhopal Lake. The craze for the Mega Match was visible as the Boat was already packed with views and a large crowd of people were unable to get on the boat to witness the Mega Matches.
Armwrestlers from across Madhya Pradesh took part in this event. The main event featured a highly anticipated bout between Gwalior’s Sachin Goyal and Agra’s Akash Kumar. Both the Armwrestlers are regarded as the best in India and in this match-up, Sachin Goyal showcased his dominance as he defeated the Agra based Armwrestler 3-0 in the best of five set-up.
In the Co-main event, Gwalior’s Jogendra Yadav defeated Dewas native Muzahid Shaikh 3-2 in a tightly contested match-up. This match was also hailed as the ‘Fight Of The Night’ match-up. It was also a unique match in the sense that this was an uncharted territory for many Armwrestlers. Jogendra Yadav was battling sea sickness amidst his armwrestling match to ultimately grab the win at the Mega Matches-4. The boat was also swaying in the lake which only added to the unique atmosphere for both the viewers and Armwrestlers. The event was a grand success and the viewers in Bhopal are already calling for the next event to take place in the City of Lakes.

Bollywood celebrities and Pro Panja League owners Mr Parvin Dabas and Mrs Preeti Jhangiaini were also present there as special guests. Both the actors have taken the sport of Armwrestling in India to next level and have heavily promoted it making Pro Panja League one of the biggest Armwrestling league in the world.

The whole event was sanctioned by Madhya Pradesh Armwrestling Association. Manohar Shekhawat (President), Tariq Khan (Secretary), Dr Keshav Pandey (President, Gwalior Armwrestling Association), Manish Kumar (Technical Advisor), Sunil Anthony (Coordinator) were also present to witness the Armwrestling spectacle.
