The sixth edition of the Tennis Premier League (TPL) is set to take place in Mumbai from December 3-8. This star-studded event will feature top players from around the world.

Stars line up for Tennis Premier League

The ace Indian player, Sumit Nagal, will be a major attraction in the men’s category. His powerful game and competitive spirit promise exciting matches. Representing France, Hugo Gaston brings his flair and finesse to the tournament. His unique playing style and versatility make him a player to watch.

In the women’s category, Poland’s Magda Linette, ranked 41st in the world, will headline the action. Her consistent performance and determination add to the tournament’s excitement. Armenia’s world No. 52, Elina Avanesyan, completes the women’s lineup. Her skills and tenacity will make the matches intense.

The TPL will follow a 25-point format, with each franchise playing a total of five matches to qualify for the semifinals. Franchise matchups will include men’s singles, women’s singles, mixed doubles, and men’s doubles, with a total of 100 points at stake. The top four teams in the points table will battle it out for top honors.

Seven franchises—PBG Pune Jaguars, Bengal Wizards, Punjab Patriots, Hyderabad Strikers, Gujarat Panthers, Mumbai Leon Army, and defending champions Bengaluru SG Pipers—will vie for glory. The TPL also focuses on discovering and nurturing young talent through district ranking tournaments and their own mobile app, connecting the tennis community across India.
