Meanwhile, doctors at the hospital are planning to do the necessary medical examinations on him on Friday, a senior official of the hospital has informed this.

Ganguly was admitted to the Apollo hospital on Wednesday for the second time in this month as he felt chest pain. Earlier this month, he had suffered a mild heart attack while exercising at his residence in Kolkata around three weeks ago and was diagnosed with three blocked coronary arteries as well.

After that, he had undergone an angioplasty during which a stent was implanted in his right coronary artery to clear a blocked artery and he was released from the hospital after a few days. However, this time, he underwent another angioplasty and two more stents were inserted to clear his clogged coronary arteries as well.
