The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League has now postponed for an indefinite time period owing to COVID-19. However, the league came under the scanner as it was taking place amid the crunch time of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. While many players in the bio-bubble have been affected by the deadly virus, overseas players have been struggling to return home.

Meanwhile, the Australian cricketers are yet to return to their country due to the ban on the flight from India. While some players are staying in India, a few have already reached the Maldives until the travel restrictions are lifted after May 15 as well.

On the other hand, Australia speedster Pat Cummins, who was playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders, has revealed that there was anxiety in the camp amid the current situation. Meanwhile, Jason Behrendorff’s wife Juvelle faced vile comments on social media as well.

However, famous Bollywood actor Sonu Sood had a hilarious message about Australian players who were being left stranded. A user took to social media and shared a cartoon where the Australian players can be seen requesting their return to Australia. Sood, meanwhile, has replied to the user and wrote, “Pack your bags. Right away.”

Earlier, Sood has also helped former India cricketer Suresh Raina, whose aunt was admitted to the hospital and urgently needed an oxygen cylinder as well.

“Urgent requirement of an oxygen cylinder in Meerut for my aunt. Age – 65 Hospitalised with Sever lung infection. Covid + SPO2 without support 70 SPO2 with support 91 Kindly help with any leads,” Raina wrote on Twitter.

Sonu Sood has helped Raina. “Send me the details Bhai. Will get it delivered,” Sood has tweeted. “Oxygen cylinder reaching in 10 mins Bhai.”

However, Sonu Sood has also expressed his grief as he couldn’t help the people who are in need in the tough time of the COVID-19 pandemic.

He took to Twitter and shared, “When I fail to get an ICU bed for someone who needs it the most & want to save a loved one, I feel so helpless. Wish I had a magic wand & everything could fall right but the reality is I will sleep with a prayer to give me time till tomorrow. I will make it happen. Just pray.”
