Wesley Sneijder, former player of Ajax and Netherlands was arrested in Utrecht after he got drunk and started dancing on a car, causing damage for 6,000 euros.
Shownieuws got their hands on this incident where the 35-year old UCL winner is caught climbing on top of the car, kicking the windshield while intoxicated and dressed in a white T-shirt.
A second video has also emerged, where you can see Sneijder kissing an unknown woman, who then makes the player come down from the car.
Police refused to confirm it was the ex-Real Madrid ace who had been detained. but later has been released, after settling the bill for the damage done.
According to Dutch news outlet Algemeen Dagblad, who headlined the incident as “Drunk Wesley Sneijder demolishes car.” has later confirmed that the player has already paid the £5382 compensation the vehicle’s owner.
Sneijder recently split up with his model/actress wife Yolanthe Cabau, and the woman in the second video could not be identified as Cabau.
The player was capped 134 times for his country, and won lots of trophies while playing for Ajax, Madrid, Inter Milan and Galatasaray.
No one seems to have been injured in this whole bizzare incident, other than that car.
