Sky247.Net set to be an associate sponsor in India’s tour to Sri Lanka

Team India are all set to compete in a limited-overs series against Sri Lanka. Ahead of the tour’s commencement, have struck a deal to be the tour’s associate sponsor.

Following their recent success with Emirates D20, Abu Dhabi ODI series, Abu Dhabi T20 series, and Pakistan’s tour to South Africa, have acquired the sponsorship for the upcoming tour as part of their sponsorship strategy.

“ is excited to be part of another global tournament as a sponsor. As a new Sports News & Entertainment website, we take this opportunity to grow and reach a very meaningful sports audience.

Also, to take this kind of partnerships helps supporting the sports events in these difficult times, whilst taking another step towards elevating the brand ́s exposure.” said João Coimbra, Sky247 Marketing Manager

Team India will be led by Shikhar Dhawan while Kusal Perea will lead the Sri Lankan contingent.

The Men In Blue are without several of their regular first-team players, and have six uncapped players in the mix.

There were some obstacles heading into the series with COVID gripping the Sri Lankan camp. Batting coach Grant Flower, a data analyst, and a reserve player all tested positive which led to the squad being pushed into isolation.

After the mandate quarantine period, the players will return back onto the field on Sunday to play the first ODI.
