Yuzvendra Chahal has gained popularity on Instagram for his quirky videos and entertaining posts. From his hilarious TikTok videos to his Insta Live bombing – Chahal has made the most of his time amid the lockdown.
After joining the RCB camp as well, Chahal has remained active on social media and often shares posts with his teammates. While the players are in UAE and training hard, Chahal took time out to have some fun. He was in the company of RCB new signing Chris Morris.
Singer Behram Siganporia was quick to reply to the cricketer’s post comparing the duo to two WWE icons – The Great Khali and Rey Mysterio. Mysterio was known for his agility and speed and his famous finisher 619, while The Great Khali hailing from Punjab made his name in WWE for his astounding size and strength.
While fans reacted to it, some asking them to maintain the social distancing norms hilariously, English cricketer Danielle Wyatt was also quick to comment calling the pair, “Legends”.
Chahal was also seen with a new chest tattoo of a lion which was similar to that of WWE legend and actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson earlier this year.

In the spinning friendly tracks in UAE, Chahal would play a massive role for RCB in the middle overs. RCB would expect him to pick wickets in the middle overs and also keep a lid on the boundaries. In RCB, Kohli has in the past shown he has a lot of trust in Chahal, it would be interesting to see how the RCB skipper uses him.
Chahal, who joined the Bengaluru-based franchise in 2014, believes it’s their death bowling that has hurt them in crucial situations. But he is optimistic for the 2020 IPL, claiming that in Navdeep Saini, Dale Steyn, Chris Morris and Umesh Yadav, they now have a formidable death-bowling line-up.
Chris Morris was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the 2020 IPL Auction for a whopping sum of INR 10 Crores. The 32-year-old is a seasoned campaigner and has vast experience in playing T20 cricket all around the world. He is widely known for his bowling in the death overs and is also capable of clearing the fence with his hard-hitting batting.
Royal Challengers Bangalore finished as runners-up in 2009, 2011 and 2016 and remain one of the three franchises to never have won the IPL crown in their history. In the last 3 seasons, RCB has a dreadful record and the wait for the elusive trophy has gone into the 13th year.
