Fans might have already known but Shubman Gill, KKR’s right hand batsman is a Chelsea fan. The cricket sensation had been at the Bridge to catch the Chelsea VS Norwich City game live. The 22-year-old took to Insta to announce how much fun he had at the games. In the picture he was seen holding Mount’s jersey. He captioned the picture:

Mason Mount, Chelsea’s midfielder previously mentioned Shubman Gill and Washington Sundar when he appeared on the Certified Chelsea. Indian actor, Arjun Kapoor interviewed the Champion’s league winner. When asked about whether he liked cricket and followed the game or not, Mount was quick to mention Gill and Sundar, who according to him were the brightest upcoming players in the Indian cricket scene.
Due to his busy schedules, Mount cannot always watch the matches, but he makes sure to catch the highlights.
“Difficult to watch games because of my packed schedule, but I know India has so many good players coming through. Shubman Gill [and] Washington Sundar are two brilliant and exciting players. They have a very exciting team.”
Chelsea handed a 7-0 loss to Norwich City
At the recent match between Chelsea and Norwich City, the former ruthlessly handed over a devastating loss to Norwich. Norwich was too weak against Chelsea’s attacks. After a pep talk from Thomas Tuche, Chelsea’s manager, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James bulldozed through the field scoring goals. Mount was one of the star players of the match as he scored a hat-trick. Just eight minutes in the game and Mount opened Chelsea’s account.
Impressed with Mount’s performance, Tuchel mentioned that Mount is one the “top player and top guy.”
Surprisingly, the team mostly consisted of Chelsea youth graduates as international players Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner were advised to get some rest due to their injuries.
