During Iyer’s Player of the Match award-winning innings of 80, spectators noticed something on his arm which looked like a patch. This triggered a question on social media about what exactly the patch was. In some posts shared by the official handle of the Indian Cricket Team where the patch was clearly visible, some curious fans inquired about the same.

Shreyas Iyer was wearing the Ultrahuman Cyborg

It can be now confirmed that Shreyas Iyer was wearing the Ultrahuman Cyborg, which is a Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) developed by global health and fitness platform called Ultrahuman.

Ultrahuman Cyborg is a metabolic fitness tracker that uses a biosensor applied to the back of the arm to measure blood glucose in real-time. This helps to get an understanding of how one’s body responds to different foods.

The Ultrahuman Cyborg gives real-time feedback on your food, lifestyle, sleep, and provides food, fueling, and metabolic scores. The platform also has customized algorithms for Focus, Longevity, and Athletic Performance.

This can be a game-changer for athletes as this can help them in understanding what suits their bodies and improve their performance from a focus, longevity, and athletic perspective.

Apparently, Shreyas Iyer is not the only Indian athlete and Cyborg in town who is trying out the Ultrahuman Cyborg. Indian cricketer Vanitha VR, Indian ace footballer Robin Singh, National Road Racing, and Rally Champion Aishwarya Pissay among many others are also trying out the Ultrahuman Cyborg which aims to bring a metabolic revolution in not only India but the entire World.
