Ludhiana Lions player Shivanshu Kaushik is undoubtedly one of the most popular armwrestlers in the country. He is a multiple time national medalist and will be seen in action in the second season of Pro Panja League.
In the first edition of Pro Panja League, Shivanshu Kaushik become the first player to ever register a win in India’s premier Armwrestling league. In the inaugural match of the first season, Shivanshu Kaushik defeated Kiraak Hyderabad’s Shahil Hussian 2-1. The match was part of the undercard coverage and it was streamed live on Fancode.
Shivanshu suffered a minor set back in the opening season as he suffered an injury which led to him suffering a defeat to Suraj Salhotra of Kochi KD’s in his second match.
Ahead of the second season, Sports India Show had the opportunity to chat with Shivanshu Kaushik to talk about his preparations for the upcoming season.
1) How is the training going?
I’m training regularly to train my toproll.
2) How was your experience in the first season?
My experience is was very good , in terms of venue , setup, broadcast, everything was perfect.
3) Your most memorable moment from Season 1?
My most memorable moment was the last day of the league when everyone was enjoying together.
4) What can we expect from you in Season 2?
You can expect 100% win from my side in season 2.
