Saurashtra wicket-keeper batsman Sheldon Jackson, who has amassed runs in the last few years at the domestic circuit has come out to raise questions on the measures that were followed by the selectors for the selection of the India A team.
Averaging close to 50 in first-class cricket, Jackson has never been close to representing India in recent times. Expressing his disappointment in being left out, the 32-year-old accused the selectors for being biased against players coming from ‘small states’.
Jackson put out a series of tweets where he was seen accusing the selectors for ignoring him while also asking for more transparency in the selection process.
1/1 Saurashtra has played the ranji trophy finals this year, and surprisingly still no player even after performing at all platforms, dont get picked for the A series. so is the importance of playing the Ranji trophy finals zero.

i am told not to question, but i strongly believe that we represent this beautiful organisation and association and we as players surely deserve to know why, and where we lack , orelse our carriers are just to goin to end wondering why🙏🏻. selectors should be transparent.
