Watch: Seven year old Pari Sharma flawlessly mimics MS Dhoni’s iconic helicopter shot!

While the entire world is waiting to see the swashbuckling former India captain MS Dhoni launch his helicopter shots once again in the upcoming edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) which will start from September 19 at UAE but before that, a seven-year-old girl – Pari Sharma is making everyone surprised with her emulating Dhoni’s helicopter shot.

While her shots impressed many, former India opener Aakash Chopra is one of them who shared a small video of Pari Sharma who can be seen playing the helicopter shot. Even, Chopra added his commentary too in the 18-second video.

“Thursday Thunderbolt…our very own Pari Sharma. Isn’t she super talented?” tweeted Aakash Chopra.

Former India batsman Sanjay Manjrekar also took to Twitter and spoke about young Pari’s cricketing skills.

“I see now helicopter shot being actually practiced. Along with collecting the ball very close to the stumps as keeper, this is another cricketing technique Dhoni has popularised as great options for budding cricketers,” shared Manjrekar.

However, Pari Sharma, a seven-year-old girl belongs to Haryana’s Rohtak, aspires to represent Indian women’s cricket team in future and break all batting records as well. She is coached by her father, who had earlier played with former India cricketers Ajay Ratra and Joginder Sharma.

However, this is not the first time that Pari has impressed the cricket fraternity. Former cricketers like Nasser Hussain, Michael Atherton and Michael Vaughan had earlier spoke about her solid technique earlier this year as well.

Notably, the England captains were in awe of the 7-year-old’s batting when she shared a video that went viral on social media.

Moreover, India women cricket team player Shikha Pandey too had praised on Pari’s batting.

On the other hand, the entire world has been waiting to see their favourite players in the action soon with the IPL which will be a 53-day tournament and the final will take place on November 10.
