Sergio Aguero’s hat-trick was enough for Manchester City to ease past the Gunners at the Etihad Stadium. The Argentine star centre forward proved that he should be considered as one of the best strikers in the Premier League. Manchester City closed the gap with Liverpool to two points after this victory against Arsenal. However, Liverpool have one match in their hand as they will play against West Ham United at the London Stadium on Monday night.
Sergio Aguero opened the scoresheet for the home side at the very first minute of the match. The Gunners tried to make a comeback when Laurent Koscielny headed the ball towards the Goal from a corner. Manchester City again took the lead in the match with a brilliant link up play between Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero. Sergio Aguero put the ball into the net before the halftime mark to have the edge with them.
Leroy Sane was not in the starting lineup of Manchester City for this match. However, his absence was not left as the midfield of Manchester City totally dominated the match through out the 90 minutes. Manchester City will face Everton in the midweek in the Premier League before facing Chelsea on Sunday.
