Manchester United fans have been pretty unhappy about the Glazer family’s ownership of the club. From the rise of #GlazersOut to several online petitions, the stands of Old Trafford are eager to see their beloved club in new hands. Meanwhile, a Saudi Prince is on the way to bid the third time for the English legends.
Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and First Deputy Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, has been allegedly attempting a third bid to takeover the Theater of Dreams, after two previous attempts worth over the region of £3 billion were turned down by the club hierarchy. The royalty will have to tender up a monumental amount to seek heed from the Glazers, the American family holding the ownership of the Red Devils.
Although, the Glazers family’s future with the club is getting more and more uncertain as days pass. Fans have been swarming social media with #GlazersOut hashtags and tweets, blaming the co-chairmen of the club Joel Glazer and Avram Glazer for the botch in the club’s performance, finance and transfer market activity.
As the situation is turning out, the club management might be highly inclined to pay heed on the Saudi royalty’s next proposal.
