The duo find themselves in Group C. They are the third seeds in the tournament, reflecting their impressive standing in the badminton world rankings. Their group includes the Indonesian pair of Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Rian Ardianto. Alfian-Ardianto, ranked World No. 6, are formidable opponents. However, Satwik-Chirag hold a favorable 3-2 head-to-head record against them, having recently triumphed at the Korea Open 2023.

Group C also features the German duo of Mark Lamsfuss and Marvin Seidel (World No. 31) and the French pair of Lucas Corvee and Ronan Labar (World No. 43). Satwik-Chirag remain unbeaten against both these teams. Satwik-Chirag’s impressive track record, including Commonwealth Games gold and Thomas Cup success, positions them as strong contenders for an Olympic medal.

As the excitement builds, let’s mark our calendars for the Paris Olympics and cheer for our Indian shuttlers as they aim for glory on the global stage! With a favorable draw, Satwik-Chirag are ready to showcase their skills and make India proud.
