Satwik-Chirag enters the finals of the Thailand Open with a dominating performance


India’s top men’s doubles badminton team, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, popularly known as Satwik-Chirag showcased their prowess by securing a place in the final of the Thailand Open.

In the semifinals, they faced opponents Lu Ming-Che and Tang Kai-Wei of Chinese Taipei, defeating them convincingly with a scoreline of 21-11, 21-12 in just 35 minutes.

The Asian Games gold medalists, Satwik and Chirag, have been in stellar form throughout the tournament. Their swift victory in the semifinals highlights their skill and determination. As the top seeds in this Super 500 tournament, they are now set to face the Chinese pair of Chen Bo Yang and Liu Yi in the final, who defeated Kim Gi Jung and Kim Sa Rang of South Korea 21-19 21-18 in the other semifinal on Saturday.
