Indian tennis legend Sania Mirza has extended her association with Sony Sports Network as the brand ambassador for tennis. This renewed partnership includes prestigious tournaments such as Roland Garros, the US Open, and the Australian Open, among other tennis properties in the broadcaster’s sports portfolio.

Sania Mirza will feature as an expert panellist on Sony Sports Network’s flagship studio show, “Extraaa Serve”, during the live coverage of Roland Garros. Her invaluable expertise and insights will enhance viewers’ understanding of the game.

With six Grand Slam titles to her name, Sania Mirza is a prominent figure in tennis. She has received prestigious awards such as the Arjuna Award, Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award, Padma Shri, and Padma Bhushan.

Joining Sania on the expert panel for Roland Garros are Olympian and former India No. 1, Somdev Devvarman, and Davis Cup player, Purav Raja. Their insights will enrich the viewing experience for fans.

As the “Home of Tennis” in India, Sony Sports Network holds broadcasting rights for three out of four Grand Slams: the Australian Open, Roland Garros, and the US Open. Additionally, they cover ATP Masters and Davis Cup events.

Roland Garros 2024 will be aired in four languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, starting from May 26, 2024.
