Sadio Mane signed a new contract with Liverpool FC and now the Senegalese winger will stay at the Anfield till the end of 2022-23 season. Sadio Mane’s weekly wages increased to a level of £150,000 in this new contract.
Sadio Mane sounded very much pleased after signing a lucrative new contract offer with Liverpool FC. He told,
“I am very happy, very happy to extend my time at Liverpool,”
“It is a great day for me and now I am looking forward to everything – to helping the team, to helping the club achieve our dreams and, especially, to win trophies.
“I’ve always said, when I knew I had a chance to come here I didn’t have to think twice. The right club in the right moment and with the right coach as well. I came here and was very happy. For me, I have made the best decision in my career.”
The former Southampton winger moved to Liverpool two seasons back. In his first season, Sadio Mane was the source of most of goals of Liverpool FC. However in the previous season, the spotlight went to Mohamed Salah as the Egyptian star player had an incredible season. Sadio Mane is now playing as a playmaker in this Liverpool side and his presence is going to be vital factor for Liverpool in the upcoming years in terms of winning titles.
