Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar has recently come in the news for another noble work. He recently provided financial assistance to 100 children from low-income families in the six states of India – Maharashtra, West Bengal, Assam, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh amid the crunch time of global pandemic novel COVID-19. However, this was done with the partnership of his and another foundation called Ekam that helps children to get treatment in government and trust as well.

The children, who have been suffering from acute diseases and facing challenges to get the proper treatment are supported by Sachin Tendulkar’s charitable organisations. However, it was not too long ago that the highest run-getter in Test and ODI cricket helped Assam’s Makunda Hospital in Karimganj district with pediatric equipment required to treat more than 2000 kids every year as well.

Meanwhile, the managing partner of Ekam Foundation, Ameeta Chatterjee, has been satisfied, with the batting legend’s contribution through his foundation where he has been doing some noble work in the healthcare aspect. It is also noteworthy that the association has already received recognition for giving quality health care for the underprivileged people or deprived people as well.

“The association with Mr Sachin Tendulkar through his foundation has been very fruitful and Sachin has done some very good work in the healthcare space. The association has worked towards providing quality health care for the underprivileged,” Chatterjee said as quoted by Times Now.

On the other hand, as far as the current status of India’s series is concerned, the team has lost their three-match One Day International series by 2-0 with one game in hand. In both games, Australia put up massive totals on the board as India bowlers failed to take early wickets and India failed to chase down later on. The third ODI will be played on Deceber 2.
