Sachin Tendulkar Gives Team India Advice Before The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019

When it comes to the ICC Cricket World Cup, who better than Former Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar, who has an abundant experience of International cricket and has been a part of 6 Cricket World Cups to take advice from going into the tournament.

Tendulkar feels that due to the format being a new one for this edition it is imperative for the Indian team to pace themselves properly. He feels that the team needs to focus on the process and not the results. If the process is followed diligently, positive results are inevitable.

Moreover, he also stressed on the fact that the squad has a few all-rounders who can play a crucial role in proving the team with a much-needed balance. Having Hardik Pandya and Vijay Shankar is a huge plus for the team according to Tendulkar.

He also heaped praises on Indian’s bowling attack, with the likes of Jasprit Bumrah who undoubtedly is one of the best pace bowlers in the world. The presence of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammad Shami has only made India’s bowling a lot more formidable in the English conditions.

Adding on, the highest international runs scorer said that the wickets in the English Summer will be quite flat and with two new balls, it will be difficult for the bowlers to contain the runs considering the conditions.

Tendulkar picked India, England, Australia and either Pakistan or New Zealand as his favourites to make it into the semi-finals.
