RR vs RCB: Sanju Samson wins the toss, elects to field first

RR vs RCB: The first realistic knockout game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) Playoffs, the Eliminator between the Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) is all set to provide exhilarating action at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The RR Skipper Sanju Samson won the toss in the all-important game and decided to bowl first against the rampaging RCB unit.

RR vs RCB: Team Composition for Eliminator

Both teams have gone for their strong 11, RR brought Shimron Hetmyer back into the team as an impact sub after missing out on a couple of previous encounters. They would be banking on Tom Kohler-Cadmore, who came in as a replacement for Jos Buttler. Though they seem to be out of touch in the last few games, they are a determinant unit to put up a strong fight in any situation.

For RCB, they have been a revelation in the second half of the tournament. Once ruled out from playoff contention, all of a sudden ends up playing the eliminator. Glenn Maxwell who missed a few games because of form issues, returned to the side and contributed heavily in the crucial win against CSK. They look very strong entering this encounter against a low-on-confidence RR unit.
