Chasing a mammoth 233 to win the match, MI was never going to get there as they kept losing wickets in regular intervals. Hardik Pandya tried to do the impossible and scored 91 of just 34 balls smashing 9 sixes in the progress. But the target was just too much and MI surrendered to a 34 run loss.
