SRH posted 159-run as the target, which RR chased down despite losing crucial wickets in between. Parag scored an unbeaten 42 off 26 deliveries with two fours and two sixes too. On the other hand, Tewatia smashed an unbeaten knock of 45 runs in just 28 balls with four fours and two sixes. They added an unbeaten 85-run partnership from the 12th over and sealed the deal.

After the match, Parag also helped Tewatia learn the Bihu dance – the traditional Assamese dance. Here is the video:

In the video, Parag can be seen explaining why he did that. He revealed that he was motivated due to the net bowlers who were there in the stadium and some of them were from Assam as well. Notably, Bihu is a traditional folk dance of Assam which is performed during the festival.

“They were there. So, for them, I did it in the heat of the moment,” he quipped.

“Love these situations. Whenever the team needs me, I put my hand up and raise to the occasion. That’s the Bihu dance, the traditional dance of Assam. Some of the Assamese boys were up there as well, had a bit of fun after the game,” Riyan Parag told broadcasters after the win.

With this win, Rajasthan Royals are currently sixth in the points table after three wins from seven matches. They will take on Delhi Capitals on October 14. On the other hand, SRH are placed at fifth with three victories from seven games. They will face Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their next match on September 13.
