The fourth and final Test between India and Australia has been taking place in Brisbane where Australia put up 359 in their first innings. However, India lost two wickets while batting and Australia off-spinner Nathan Lyon has said that he will take the advantage of the crack outside the off-stump in the game at the Gabba.

It is also noteworthy that, the ongoing Test is his 100th Test match and he is eyeing to claim his 400th Test wicket in the series where Rohit Sharma’s wicket was his 397th as well.

“It was like a Day 3 wicket yesterday, and there’s a nice crack outside off-stump so I’m trying to aim at that. My natural line is Paine’s right glove, that’s about a foot outside off-stump, and there’s a nice crack on that line so hopefully I can get something out of that,” said Lyon after the second day’s game.

He also added that he tried to bowl his best to India’s swashbuckling opener Rohit Sharma, who did try his best to contribute with the bat. Nathan Lyon also added that he is looking forward to the battle with Rishabh Pant following his onslaught in the third Test.

“Rishabh always tries to smash me so I’m looking forward to bowl to him, it’s always a great battle with him,” shared Lyon.

Moreover, Lyon’s parents are at the Gabba for his 100th Test but they couldn’t meet due to the bubble restrictions. “It would’ve been nice to go out for dinner with everyone, including my parents but there are bubble restrictions,” he told.

On the other hand, Team India have been playing without their key players in the fourth and final Test at The Gabba in Brisbane. The latest addition was the pacer Navdeep Saini, who had to leave the ground and couldn’t bowl for the remainder of the day. He couldn’t even field at all on Day 2 and India played with a bowling attack that comprised of three debutants where two-Test old Mohammed Siraj led the pace attack as well.
