On the third day of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019 being played in France, three exciting matches took place.
The first match was played between two giants of women’s international football Italy and Australia. The Italian women defeated the Australian ladies 2-1 in a close thrilling game. Italy made a fantastic comeback after going behind in the 22nd minute due to a goal from Samantha Kerr. For Italy, Barbara Bonansea scored a brace, first in the 55th minute and the second in 90+5 minutes.
In the second game of the evening, Brazil defeated Jamaica with ease by 3-0. For Brazil, the prolific C. Rozeira scored an impressive hattrick.
In the third game of the night, N Parris scored a penalty in the 14th minute and Ellen White then doubled the lead in the 40th minute. For Scottland, Claire Emslie scored in the 79th minute.
