The La Liga giants agreed to pay Chelsea £88.5 million plus £41.5 million in add-ons for the Belgian sensation, but the sales of Mateo Kovačić, Raúl de Tomás, Theo Hernandez and Marcos Llorente have already repaid that astronomical amount.

Apart from the 28-year old Belgian, Real also signed Rodrygo Goes from Santos, Ferland Mendy from Lyon, Luka Jović from Eintracht Frankfurt and Éder Militão from Porto.
However, Los Blancos have already banked their total spending from player sales this summer.
Llorente joined city rivals Atlético Madrid for £30 million. The Rojiblancos bought him to replace Rodri, who recently made a move to Manchester City.
Kovačić made his loan permanent at Stamford Bridge for £44.8 million plus add ons, that makes a combined total of £100 million that covers the basic amount paid to sign Eden Hazard from the Blues.
Centre forward Raúl de Tomás left the club this Wednesday,, joining Portuguese side SL Benfica in a deal worth £17 million.
In addition to this, Zidane’s side also secured another £17 million from the transfer of left-back Theo Hernandez yesterday, who is on his way to AC Milan.
Although money is not an issue for Florentino Pérez, due to the Financial Fair Play rules, Galacticos still need to keep themselves in check this summer.
