Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has received a lucrative offer from China and wants to go there. However, club President Florentina Perez is reluctant to leave him and as things stand, Sergio Ramos will not be heading towards China.

Sergio Ramos, 33, told the Real Madrid President through his agent that he received a “very good offer” from an unnamed Chinese club and wanted to try his luck there. The Spaniard is contracted with Madrid up to 2021 and cannot leave unless the club offers a transfer fee. However, rules and regulations in China meant they couldn’t offer so.
“They came to see me at the office and they told me that they had a very good offer from China but that the rules there do not allow them to pay the transfer. I told Ramos that it was impossible for Real Madrid to let their captain go for free,” said PEREZ.
Sergio Ramos is Real Madrid’s longest-serving player after he joined the club from Sevilla in 2005. He has won the La Liga and Champions League four times with them since joining.
Given how important Sergio Ramos is to Real Madrid, club President Florentina Perez made a wise decision to not let him go free.
