The cricketing world is famililar about the relationship between Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. The Indian and South African cricketing icons are renowned for their brotherly bonding with each other, and the fans will have an eye candy seeing the two Royal Challengers Bangalore legends join together for the upcoming 2020 Indian Premier League season. Just three weeks prior to their first IPL match, the duo have taken it to Twitter to have a personal chit-chat, but not in form of personal messages.

The two have shared the dressing room since AB joined Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2011, and just before the thirteenth season of the blockbuster Indian cricket tourmanet commences, the fans had an eye candy on their favourite superstar having a casual convo via tweets on the micro blogging website.

Yesterday, De Villers tweeted a question to Virat Kolhi, asking what the RCB captain was doing. @imVkohli what are you (up) to?” the Proteas star asked.

Kohli soon replied with a sofa and TV emoji, meaning that he was on his couch enjoying the TV.

Next, AB responded with a cricket bat emoji, implying that he is on practice.

Kohli, probably not understanding what his teammate meant by that, replied “???”

De Villers then replied with posting a short clip, which is a promotional video for ‘WROGN’, a a youth fashion brand Kohli launched in 2014 in partnership with Universal Sportsbiz. The clip shows a couch, that explodes and a tagline appears, which reads: “Get Off Your Ass”

While the netizens enjoyed the hilarious banter between the cricketers, this was actually a promotion for WROGN’s new clothing line called ‘WROGN ACTIVE’. De Villers himself is the ambassador of the product release, which are now available in the outlets of the Indian department store chain Shoppers Stop, and also on the online fashion website myntra.com.

Prior to IPL, Kohli will return to international duty as Team India takes on South Africa in the upcoming 3 match One Day International series starting from 12th March at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala.

Royal Challengers Bangalore’s IPL opener is against the Kolkata Knight Riders on 31st March at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
