The wedding festivities began with a vibrant Sangeet ceremony on December 20, followed by Haldi, Pellikuthuru, and Mehendi rituals on December 21. Sindhu looked stunning in a cream-coloured saree, while Venkat Datta Sai complemented her in a matching cream sherwani. Union Minister of Culture and Tourism, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, shared the first photograph of the newlyweds, extending his best wishes to the couple.
Sindhu and Venkat Datta Sai have known each other for a long time, and their bond deepened over the years. The couple revealed that the hardest part of their relationship was keeping it a secret. Sindhu expressed her desire for stability as the reason behind their decision to marry, stating that it would help her perform better on the court. Venkat Datta Sai echoed her sentiments, emphasizing the importance of having a sense of security and support.
