Punjab FC Appoints Manish Timsina as New Goalkeeping Coach

Punjab FC has officially named Manish Timsina as their new goalkeeping coach ahead of the upcoming Indian Super League (ISL) season. Timsina, a seasoned coach with experience in Nepal, India, and Malaysia, brings extensive credentials to his role.

Manish Timsina currently serves as the goalkeeping coach for the Nepal national team. He has also worked with the I-League team Gokulam Kerala, where he played an instrumental role in securing their I-League title.

Timsina holds both AFC/FAM Goalkeeping ‘A’ and ANFA ‘A’ Diploma licenses. His expertise and training background make him well-suited for mentoring goalkeepers.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Timsina stated, “I am thrilled to begin this new journey with Punjab. The squad has a strong group of goalkeepers, and I am eager to work with each of them to elevate their game.”

Timsina will now mentor PFC’s goalkeepers, including Ravi Kumar, Jaskaranbir Singh, Abujam Penand Singh, and Muheet Shabir.

PFC’s Football Director, Nikolaos Topoliatis, expressed confidence in Timsina’s ability to help the team compete for all three trophies and develop young keepers to reach their full potential.

With Timsina’s appointment, Punjab aims to strengthen their goalkeeping department and enhance their performance in the upcoming ISL season.
