PKL Season 10 is in its week 4 as it is continuing to produce blockbuster entertainment as each day passing by. The boxing day will see the table toppers Puneri Paltan going up against the three time champions Patna Pirates at SDAT Multi purpose Indoor Stadium, Chennai. The Tuesday night will feature only one game. Paltan are in an excellent form so far in this season and will be clear favourites heading into this gigantic clash.
PKL Season 10: Puneri Paltan vs Patna Pirates
Puneri Paltan has been the most destructive team in the tournament. They won 5 out of six games and lost one with just 5 points against Steelers. They also have a points difference of 72 which is highest for any team in this season. The runner ups from previous edition are looking resurgent this time, crushing every opponent on their path to ultimate glory.
Patna Pirates started their campaign well with two wins. But lost the next three which included a couple of close games as well. They are coming into this game with a thumping victory against Tamil Thalaivas. Pirates need to produce an inspiring performance against the brutal force of Puneri Paltan. A win today will take them to 5th on points table.
What to Expect
Puneri Paltan who have been flawless this season will look to continue their natural game. The star raiders Aslam Inamdar, Chiyaneh and Mohit Goyat are in a tremendous form. They have been consistent and stepping up whenever the team needs them. Their defenders starring Gaurav Khatri, Abinesh Nadarajan are also in a great touch. If these star players once again put up on a show, it would be a cakewalk for Paltan.
On the other hand, Patna Pirates did well to thrash Thalaivas in the last game. The raiders and defenders contributed at the right time to handover a crucial win. A similar, or a bit more of that kind of contribution is required even today to defeat the dominant Paltan side. Though it seems like an strenuous task, Pirates should back themselves to do well.
