Bengal Warriors edged past Puneri Paltan with a margin of 26-22 in the Interzone match on Saturday. The win took Bengal Warriors to the third position in the League Table of Zone B as they collected 32 points in 11 matches so far. On the other hand, Puneri Paltan stayed at the third position in the League Table of Zone A as they collected 39 points from 15 matches in this season’s Pro Kabbadi League.

Bengal Warriors needed this win badly to make a comeback in this season. It was a low scoring encounter with both the teams relying on do or die raids. Bengal Warriors secured the win as their star raider Maninder Singh forced an all out of the opponents at the end moment of the match.

 

In the other match between Gujarat Fortune Giants ended with a 30-30 scoreline. With this result, Gujarat Fortune Giants went to the second position in the League Table of Zone A in this season’s Pro Kabbadi League. They collected 42 points in 10 matches so far in this season. On the other hand, Bengaluru Bulls went to the top of the table of Zone B with 35 points in 9 matches. Now, Bengaluru Bulls will face Pink Panthers and Gujarat Fortune Giants will take on UP Yoddha tomorrow.
