At the Regional Sports Centre in Kochi on Sunday, the Ahmedabad Defenders defeated the Bengaluru Torpedoes with scores of 15-7, 15-10, 18-20, 13-15, and 15-10 to claim the championship in the second season of the RuPay Premier Volleyball League powered by A23. Due to his impressive performance, Angamuthu was chosen the player of the match.

Early on, LM Manoj and Nandhagopal worked together to repel Bengaluru’s assaults. The Torpedoes demonstrated their willingness to fight when Ibin and Pankaj participated in attacks. But despite repeated assaults from Angamuthu, the Defenders kept their cool. Ahmedabad opened up a sizable lead as captain Muthusamy Appavu started setting up Danial and Manoj by drawing block errors from the Torpedoes.
