On the occasion of the first anniversary of Fit India Movement, PM Narendra Modi will interact with fitness experts, influencers and citizens during a Fit India Dialogue, nationwide in scale.

According to the official website, the Fit India Movement is a movement to take the nation on a path of fitness and wellness. It provides a unique and exciting opportunity to work towards a healthier India. As part of the movement, individuals and organisations can undertake various efforts for their own health and well-being as well as for the health and well-being of fellow Indians.

Fit India Movement is conducting Fit India Freedom Run from 15th August – 2nd October 2020 to encourage fitness and help us all to get freedom from obesity, laziness, stress, anxiety, diseases etc. The concept behind this run is that “It can be run anywhere, anytime!”. You can-

A Fit India quiz, an initiative by the Fit India Movement to create awareness among people across the country regarding fitness, health, and nutrition will also take place.

The Fit India Quiz contains multiple choice questions based on the fitness, health, indigenous games and nutrition. These questions are designed to motivate citizens to to get fit by leaning about various matters related to health such as what kind of activities help in gaining fitness, what kind of diets help in remaining fit, and what kind of indigenous sports are played in our country.

Through this quiz, participants would have the opportunity to not only test their knowledge about fitness and win attractive prizes but also get motivated in getting fit.

This activity aims to engage, excite and enable citizens to motivate them towards fitness and raise awareness about fitness through an interactive learning process.

Indian National Cricket Team captain Virat Kohli, who is currently captaining Royal Challengers Bengaluru, will be a part of the dialogue, which happens on September 24.

Other attendees include Milind Soman and other fitness influencers from all around the nation.
