Both Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Delhi Capitals (DC) will face off in a must-win encounter at the DY Patil Stadium as almost three teams have confirmed their place and there’s only one position left to fill in the top 4.

Punjab vs Delhi who will win: PBKS vs DC Head to Head in IPL history - The SportsRush

Punjab Kings (PBKS)

The previous game against RCB was a rare instance when Punjab played good cricket throughout the match. Their campaign has been very inconsistent which puts them in a must-win position at the end of the league stage.

PBKS have plenty of match-winners on their side who can turn the complexion of the game in a matter of overs. Their team combination is also perfect with the addition of Rishi Dhawan. But it’s a matter of all XI players clicking consistently which hasn’t happened regularly for the Kings.

Delhi Capitals (DC)

DC shares a similar story to PBKS. They have been fairly inconsistent and have never won two matches in a row. That’s why it is going to be tough for the Pant-led side to win the remaining games.

DC are already without their star opener Shaw and it is unknown when he would be returning. In his absence, the replacement Bharat has not contributed anything. In bowling, Kuldeep has gone wicketless for a lot of matches now which is why Delhi’s bowling has not been able to contain the opposition.

WAGING ODDS: DC (1.90) VS PBKS (1.90)

Both PBKS and DC are equal favorites as both of them are priced at 1.90, meaning if you bet ₹100 on either of them and if the team wins, you’ll be making ₹190.

Our Prediction:

Going by DC’s trend of win-loss, they are expected to lose the game. But looking at the form of Warner and Marsh, and the firepower of Powell in the middle, DC can edge past Punjab in this encounter.
