Pawan Sehrawat broke all records as his 39 points ensured that Bengaluru Bulls decimated Haryana Steelers 56-39.

U Mumba on the other hand sealed their spot following a closely fought 30-26 win over Patna Pirates.

Fazel Atrachali was the star of the pack in this match as he led from the front to keep Pardeep Narwal quiet for most of the game.

U Mumba got off to a flyer after Fazel Atrachali successfully attempted a double thigh hold tackle to send Narwal to the sidelines in the very first minute.

The side then quickly opened up an 8-point lead in the 9th minute of the match after Abishek Singh and Athul MS shined with their raids.

However Patna wasn’t to give up very easily. They then immediately clawed their way back into the tie, powered by Pardeep Narwal and Jang Kun Lee.

The half time saw U Mumba have their noses up front with a 17-13 lead.

The major strength of U Mumba in the second half was their ability to keep Pardeep Narwal away from the game for most durations. Despite this, Patna kept themselves in the tie and did not let U Mumba run away with it.

With just six minutes to go, Patna’s Jang Kun Lee saw himself earn his side three points and reduce the deficit to just one. The match looked to be heading to a tight finish.

However an inspired captaincy from Fazel Atrachali saw the Mumbai side put out a strong defensive display in the dying moments of the game to earn a deserving win.
