Patna Pirates come from behind to hold Telugu Titans and Puneri Paltans end home leg with a win

The last day of Pune leg of Pro Kabaddi League season 7 saw all the big names perform as Pardeep Narwal, Siddhartha Desai, Pankaj Mohite, Rohit Kumar and Pawan Sherawat completed a well managed super-10. In the first game of the day the Pirates came back from behind to defeat the Telugu Titans courtesy a good show from captain Pardeep Narwal and Korean recruit Jang Kun Lee. In the second game the hosts completed their home leg with a victory courtesy 17 raid points from Pankaj Mohite. The Bengaluru Captain Rohit Kumar and star raider Pawan Sherawat completed super 10’s but that was not enough to help the bulls defeat Paltans.

Match 98: Telugu Titans vs Patna Pirates (42-42)

Patna Pirates played their first draw of the season as the three-time champions hoped for a win to keep their hopes alive for the Playoffs. It was game where Siddharth Desai and Rajnish completed a super 10 but it was Pardeep Narwal’s show which helped the Pirates to come from behind and defeat Telugu Titans. Pardeep Narwal was very well supported by Jang Kun Lee who has looked to rediscover himself after he has comeback from playing Nationals in South Korea.

Match 99: Puneri Paltans vs Bengaluru Bulls (42-38)

Puneri Paltans were looking for a perfect ending to their home leg in this season and a close victory against the defending champions helped them end their home leg on a good note courtesy performances by Pankaj Mohite who scored his career best to set the right tone for the Paltans to defeat the defending champions. Pankaj Mohite scored 17 raid points and it was very well complemented by Surjeet Singh and Sagar Krishna.

The next leg of Pro Kabaddi League season 7 will be played in Jaipur and the 100th game of the tournament will be played between Jaipur Pink Panthers and Gujarat Fortunegiants , the second game of the day will be played between UP Yoddha and Tamil Thalaivas.
