Patna Pirates have now reached the 8th position courtesy as defender Neeraj Kumar became the first player in PKL history to reach 11 tackle points and became the second player to reach 10 tackle points in a game. On the other hand table toppers Dabang Delhi flew high courtesy 13th consecutive super 10 by raider Naveen Kumar.
Match 91: Dabang Delhi K.C vs Gujarat Fortunegiants (34-30)
Yet another match winning performance by the Delhi outfit helped them consolidate their position on the top of the table as performances by Naveen Kumar and raider Vijay helped the Delhi team defeat a different looking fortunegiants team. Vijay who replaced Chandran Ranjith performed well to score 5 raid points , on the other hand it was Rohit Gullia for the Guarat Fortunegiants who scored 13 raid points and was the only player who shone for the two-time defending champions.
Match 92: Puneri Paltans vs Patna Pirates (33-55)
A spirited performance by the Pirates team helped them defeat the hosts Puneri Paltans by a margin of 22 points and help them take the revenge of what happened in their home leg. Pardeep Narwal scored yet another super-10 and eventually scored 18 raid points to help Patna Pirates defeat yet another team by a big margin, with this victory the three-times champions kept their hopes alive for qualifying for the playoffs. It was defender Neeraj Kumar who made this game his own as he became only the second defender to score 10 tackle points after Manjeet Chillar and equaled the record of most tackle points in PKL history.
