The manager of Bayern Munich, Niko Kovac is worried about his side’s defensive lapses just ahead of the Round of 16 tie in the Champions League. The match is certainly going to be a big match for both the sides and the better side on the given day will succeed to the next round of the competition.
Bayern Munich played against Augsburg in the Bundesliga. The German side won the match with a margin of 3-2 and it was not at all a commendable win for Bayern Munich. After the end of the match, that manager of Bayern Munich Niko Kovac told,
“We struggled to get into the game,”
“I can’t remember conceding a goal so early, that was very annoying.
“We knew that Augsburg wanted to play man against man and that they are a physical side. But we couldn’t organise the side and it took 35 minutes to settle it somehow.
“Defensively, we need to be better working backwards, and that is something that will be going into my analysis.”
Bayern Munich will probably miss the service of Kingsley Coman in the match against Liverpool as the player was injured against Augsburg. Franck Ribery will replace him in the starting lineup of Bayern Munich in the match against Liverpool.
