Neymar, who is eager for a transfer away from PSG this summer, has confessed to his former teammates at Camp Nou that he is looking to return to the club, through a WhatsApp message that reads “Don’t Worry, I am coming”
The samba superstar was transferred to Paris in 2017 with a record fee of £198m, but has grown a distaste of the lack of competition and crowd in Ligue 1, and believes the transfer was a big mistake.
The Brazilian previously texted Neymar Sr. “Take me back to Barça”, and club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi “I do not want to play more in PSG. I want to go back to my house, where I never should have left”. the 27-year old has now sent a WhatsApp message to Blaugrana’s dressing room, where he confirmed that his desire for homecoming was forthcoming, according to Sport.
Valverde is ready to drop £90m plus either Philippe Coutinho or Ousmane Dembélé in order to land Neymar to Camp Nou.
However, Al-Khelaifi confirmed to France Football about his personal discussion with the player, and suggested that a move is likely.
“I want players willing to give everything to defend the honour of the jersey and to join the club project. Those who do not want that, or do not understand, we will meet and we will talk to each other.” he added.
