Klay Thompson scored 39 points as the Golden State Warriors beat the Denver Nuggets 122-105. The win puts the Warriors 2 games above the Nuggets in the Western Conference standings. Thompson was 13-of-22 from the field and 9-of-11 from beyond the arc. It was a statement win for the Warriors as the playoffs are just around the corner.
The Orlando Magic won their 9th game in the last 13 as they beat the Dallas Mavericks 111-106. Nikola Vucevic was the star performer as he had 20 points and 13 rebounds. Marvin Williams scored a season-high 30 points as the Hornets claimed a close 112-111 win over the Wizards.
The Toronto Raptors clinched their playoff berth with a 127-104 win over the New Orleans Pelicans. Kawhi Leonard scored 31 and Kyle Lowry had a triple-double in the game. The Heat won as well, beating the Cavaliers 126-110 in Miami.
The Pistons came back to win 112-104 in Chicago in a game in which they trailed by 17 points at half-time. Detroit outscored Chicago by 63-38 in the second half. The Rockets won their 7th straight game as they defeated the 76ers on the back of 31 points from James Harden.
