Propelled by Tomas Satoransky’s triple-double and Bradley Beal’s 32 points, the Washington Wizards clinched a 113-106 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. In Philadelphia, Ben Simmons’ triple-double was in vain as the 76ers lost 121-123 to the Atlanta Hawks.
The Raptors got an easy 122-105 home win over the Nets, and their bench contributed heavily. New York suffered yet another defeat, as the Pacers won 121-106 at the Madison Square Garden.
Luka Doncic carried the Mavericks with 28 points and 12 assists, and his dagger three-pointer sank the Timberwolves in Minnesota. Donovon Mitchell’s purple patch continued for the Jazz, and they defeated the Lakers 113-95 in Utah. The Lakers’ are sorely missing LeBron James, who got injured in December.
Damian Lillard and C. J. McCollum scored 50 points together to lead the Trail Blazers to a 127-96 win over the Charlotte Hornets. The Golden State Warriors blew the Chicago Bulls away, as Klay Thompson, Steph Curry, and Kevin Durant combined for 80 points.
