Russell Westbrook had a monster triple-double of 24 points, 24 assists, and 13 rebounds, but it was in vain. His teammate Paul George scored 30 points, and Jerami Grant added 25.
Aldridge got his career-high, and his 56 was the most points by a Spurs player for a decade. The Spurs started the game with 14 consecutive three-point makes, which was the most in the league for 20 seasons.
In other news, the Sacramento Kings beat the Detroit Pistons 112-102. It was the seventh loss in eight games for Detroit. Meanwhile, the Miami Heat claimed a surprise 115-99 win over the Boston Celtics. Jaylen Brown and Marcus Morris were involved in a heated tussle during the game.
Nikola Jokic recorded a triple-double of 18 points, 10 assists, and 14 rebounds as the Denver Nuggets won 121-100 against the Clippers.
