Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 27 points and 21 rebounds pushed the Bucks past the Rockets by a 116-109 scoreline. Fellow MVP rival James Harden scored 42 points but ended up on the losing side.
The Pelicans had a field day against the Cavaliers, winning 140-124. Anthony Davis top-scored in the game with 38 points. In Memphis, the Grizzlies won against the Spurs, in a 96-86 result.
Rookie Luka Doncic powered the Mavericks past Suns, and Donovan Mitchel did the same for the Jazz in the matchup against the Magic. Portland also won, defeating Chicago 124-112.
