Damian Lillard had a playoff night for the ages. The guard scored 50 points and scored a buzzer-beater as the Blazers beat the Thunder 118-115 to win the series 4-1. Lillard had 10 three-pointers in the game, and the most important one came at the very death. He let fly from 40 feet, and the home crowd went mad as it dropped in as the buzzer sounded.
The 76ers also wrapped up their season courtesy of a 122-100 win over the Nets. Joel Embiid returned to the lineup and had 23 points and 13 rebounds on the night. It was a relatively easy series for Philadelphia, but they will face a tougher test in the next round where they will play the Raptors.
Speaking of them, the Raptors also clinched their series 4-1. Kawhi Leonard had 27 points as they beat the Magic 115-96. Pascal Siakam had 24 points, and Toronto overcame their usual Game 1 hiccup to progress.
Meanwhile, the Nuggets-Spurs series is still alive, courtesy of Denver’s 108-90 win. They now lead 3-2, as the series heads back to San Antonio for Game 6. Jamal Murray had 23 points, and seven Nuggets were in double figures on the night. That’s all the action from today, visit this space tomorrow for more of the same!
