FIDE celebrates 100th anniversary
Organized by Phoenix Marketcity Mall and ChessBase India, in association with the All India Chess Federation (AICF) and FIDE (the International Chess Federation, the event celebrates International Chess Day with this ambitious endeavor. Chess players from around the world will participate. Whether you’re a seasoned grandmaster or a beginner, your move can contribute to making history. Prizes totalling up to Rs 1 lakh will be awarded, with an entry fee of Rs 300 for participants.

The tournament in Mumbai will feature over 350 players competing in a 10+5 time control format across nine rounds. The chess battles will take place at the Phoenix Marketcity Mall in Mumbai.
From classrooms to grand halls, from digital arenas to the streets, the world will become a giant chessboard. Every game played will be a move toward breaking the record.
